Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Mogh Than Meets the Eye
Wednesday, 12/22/21, this group of friends went us therefore.… We went there for to view the Vincent Van Gogh Immersive Exhibit. It was more than I expected. As we walked through, we read of Van Gogh’s beginning, his explorations, struggles and results. At the end, the Immersive exhibit animated and projected throughout the entire room… on the walls and floors thereby making US a part of the art.
EXPRESS YOURSELF
My takeaway is that Van Gogh struggled to find the means and methods to express himself. He tried preaching as his father was one. He struggled in business with his sibling and with his finances. He knew he had something to communicate he just didn’t know the expression it would take. He started experimenting with color and light. He sketched, drew and painted his pieces took shape.
Street Life
As my pastor would say, “anybody on my street?!” I definitely know my way around life's "Van Gogh Boulevard" and so do the ladies that accompanied me to this exhibit. The objective is to know the boulevard is a grassy lively thoroughfare… not a dead end.
Forsake Not the Assembling of Ourselves Together
At the end of the exhibit, we gathered, took more group pictures, shared our current events good and not so good, topics regarding life and death, changes in life and praises of celebration and the fierce piercings of silence. We prayed and went back to our perspective places. I absolutely love the women in my life. We see and hear each other in ways words can’t express.
This communing was better than Facebook. This was a Facelook. Let me see you. Let me look in your eyes. Let us gather and woosaw for a few moments. Along the way, there was something said, an expression or glance caught that God will bring back into our memory that will bring a smile, be a ray of light or perhaps squeeze out a tear.
So what am I saying?
Fun Fact: Van means God is Gracious. Using Gogh as a play on the word go… God is gracious, Go ye therefore!
The scripture shared earlier ends the chapter of where Jesus has been crucified, His body is missing yet He has been resurrected. Sounds like a metaphor of events good and not so good. SELAH
Like Van Gogh did… see the beauty in the smallest of objects, people and circumstances. Your expression of/in Light today will bring a legacy of Immersive Beauty for ashes. Be light and full of color, not a shadow.
Conclude the chapter and the book like Jesus did… share the Gospel (Himself)… immerse yourself into the beauty and light of God, self and others… “and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” For on this boulevard we lie down in green pastures… Regardless!
