New Altitude

New Beginnings

Today is day one on my new job.

🗣 I. AM. EXCITED! The job is 100% remote with 1 day per month in the office. Today is that day.

I have met my new coworkers and supervision. Like the last place, I work with another man named Kim (go figure 🤔). Of my new colleagues, looks like I’m one of the tall ones. 😂🤣 Oh God made us such big thinkers.

As I leave the past place of employment, I must pay homage to “The Neighborhood”. It was the cross section of people that I was blessed to work with. We all were social distanced into the old lunchroom. We came from various departments and even companies. We were a resourceful group of people who created cubicle walls (and garage doors) from folded lunch room tables. The days were interesting. Some times it was, in my Nelly voice, “so hot in here”. Other times it was quiet when payroll complaints filled in. 😳 😬

No matter what the climate, I think it was the place we all called home for, of those of us who had a choice, none of us wanted to go back to our departments…😂 none of us.

In the neighborhood we celebrated birthdays and each other. We rejoiced with those that rejoiced and mourned with those that mourned.

I’m not the first to leave. But we all managed to stay in touch beyond the campus grounds.

On my last day , I was blessed with cupcakes,flowers, cards, money, a balloon and chocolate and a sweet hand written love note.

I serenaded the group with Five Minutes of Funk by Whodini and It takes 2 by Rob Base. I was so happy the song and dance was a natural outburst. I felt like performing an entire season of Glee with wide fanning fingers from a swaying body as I ran and swung around columns.

However, I concluded with God be with you. The neighborhood was truly part of my best experience there. I thank you guys individually and collectively. May God bless you all.

It’s Up & It’s Up & It’s Up & It’s Up!

I am in a great place and space. As I look around, I not only see, hear and feel, but I speak increase, elevation… glory to glory, strength to strength, faith to faith. My prayers have been answered. God is faithful and great is His mercy towards me.

I operate from abundance not lack; from excitement and not dread; from Love (and loving kindness) and not anything that opposes either.

I make money from my home, out of my home and wherever I go…like for real for real!

I feel revitalized as if I have imbibed a pre workout drink. I know that is the presence of the Lord. He has gotten my juices flowing. My mind is alert and I embrace this opportunity to serve my state, the citizens and travelers of it.

Bless the Lord oh my soul and all that is within me bless His holy name. Bless the Lord oh my soul and forget not all His benefits. Psalm 103
