It’s Just A Mask

Job 1 - 5

As I was reading this, it was like I told God, this story always scares me. And His word rose up in me... “... The Lord is at hand...Be anxious for nothing... but by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God... and the peace which passes all understanding shall guard your hearts and mind through Jesus Christ....” Philippians 4:5,6,7

WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?

Remember at first Job sinned not in what He said. But when He did speak in chapter 3,(boooiiiii) Job’s words were dark and he began cursing the days and his mother’s womb and such.

But as I read it, I spoke the opposite. Yes operating in full hindsight but speaking light and blessings and life. That reading felt so much better. This is great practice of how we can use the power of the Word to evoke change.

Then instead of reading it in in fear, the fear became cheesy. You know like Thriller by Michael Jackson. When the video first came by out, I was scared! I am never a horror fan. As I look at it now, I see the great efforts to scare, but can look at it like it’s all makeup & made up! 🥸😒

Mind renewal is what we are applying now.

I read the CSB version. God gave Satan power over what Job owns but not Job. THIS IS WHY WE DON’T WORSHIP STUFF. BUT WE WORSHIP THE CREATOR OF ALL, ELOHIM!!! Everything is subject to God! As we submit to God and resist the devil He will flee!!!!

Remember here satan is “masked up”, unknown to Job as a player in his story (history 🤔 ). He is Job’s “thriller”; sending destructing through nouns. God can thrill us more than any ghoul could ever dare try! THRILL AND FILL ME GOD!

Take Authority with the Word of God!

BUT REMEMBER & KNOW THIS, GOD gave man dominion over all! Job had & we have rights/access/authority to and over all. Even those things to defeat the enemy not in our possession (like angels who are ministering spirits) because we are sons & daughters of God!!!

I pray you can see this! Let us do as Jesus did when he came face to face with the unmasked cheesy devil. Let’s hit Him with the Word of God!

Mark 4:14 “The sower soweth the Word”. I pray we reap a beautiful harvest from the Word of God flowing from our lips.

When the stuff in life tries to flood us out, may God remember us like Noah and the waters assuage! (calm, ease and satisfy).
