Happy New Year!
DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?
When I look at today’s date! I see an emphasis on a new beginning: Paced out. Definite. Do over. Duplicates. Multiples. Prime Factors! Do you see anything else? I also see repetition with growth!
RE RE RE RE RESPECT
Recompense Compensate
Redemption Deem
Regard Guard
Reparation Peaceful living
Restitution Satisfaction
Resource Source
Restoration Storage
I have been praying for quite some time for the items on the left side of the list. Then it dawned on me, it sounds so much like a victim‘s request. Who wants to live there? I don’t. I rather Victory (-ory - how I speak about it) over Victimization (-im - what I become)! So I thought about it, Christ redeemed us from the curse and gave us salvation, not “resalvation“, which is not even a Word. With salvation comes the things on the right side of the list.
So this year, 2022, I pray for the things on the right. Re-specting the spectrum or perspective of all things being right. And now I give gratitude to God for:
Compensation (make amends),
Deem (to form or have an opinion; judge; think),
Guard (to keep safe from harm or danger; protect; watch over),
Peaceful living (nothing missing or lacking),
Satisfaction (fulfillment & gratification),
Source (any thing or place from which something comes, arises, or is obtained; origin:),
Storage (a gathering place).
Now see this from the perspective of the Garden of Eden eating instead the tree of life. … forgetting those things which were behind and pressing toward the mark.
RESTATED
So I express it this way; I thank God for being the and my SOURCE of all. He COMPENSATES me with so much Love that my STORAGE overflows. I DEEM God to be above all. He GUARDS my heart and mind. I am SATISFIED with good things and I LIVE PEACEFULLY amongst all mankind.
REPENTANCE
Decisively living on the right side, the only RE offer is repentance for rebelling against the will of God.
“2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:
3 and hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
Revelation 2:2,3,5, 7 KJV
I bless you to have a prosperous and blessed New Year. But leave you with this thought about the tree of life.
It is mentioned 10 times in the Bible. And from the first to the last mention, it’s just a summary of God reconciling us Back to Him so that we eat (decisively) from the Tree of Life having put away strange fruit!
