Genesis 26 is case study on steadfast success! It ranges from famines to wealth. It covers generations (Abraham to Isaac), generational curses (famine) and generational wealth (breaking the curses)!
General breakdown:
Famine happened for both Abraham and Issac!
God told Isaac to stay in Gerar where the famine was (not leave as his father did going back to Egypt {I don’t think so 😆}). Gerar’s derivative meaning is ruminate or meditate. SELAH
Isaac sowed in a famine in Gerar and reaped 100 fold.
Wealth came in but so did the forces that tried to stop the reverse of the curse.
This chapter continues to tell the back and forth story of how he digged in and uncovered the wells his father had already dug to provide water and others covered them up with earth (which was cursed).
ATTITUDE DETERMINES ALTITUDE
He did this 7 times!!! No talk mentioned of the complaints nor the can’ts!!! OH WELL! He just DIGGED IN!

THE ODS ARE IN YOUR FAVOR...
Hear this clearly:
Isaac was untouchable!
None of the dirt throwing was about Isaac. It was to choke out those connected to him (Vs 14). 🧐
Of the 7 times he dug, he only found water twice!
2 out of 7 is over 28%!
100 percent obedience to God turned a 28% success rate into a 100 fold return!!!
...BECAUSE GOD FAVORS YOU
OH WELL! Remember that God is a “family man”. He remembered the promise to Abraham which included his seed.
Isaac was blessed and so was his family (Esau got married) and all connected to him.

Amen. Thank you for sharing . I will not give up bc continue to dig with God on my side. God Bless you!!!😀
