How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By YOU

It’s Harvest Time!

Oh Taste and see that the Lord is good!

Look at them taters! Lord knows I love sweet potatoes 🍠 and He grew these beauts in the garden of my back yard.

I planted them the week before Easter and harvested them today 10/28/22. They produce beautiful vines that run. My research tells me that the vines and leaves 🍃 are salad edible. I didn’t do that this year. I’ll report back next year. Also the browning of the leaves 🍁 indicate they were ready for harvest. And what a beautiful harvest it is!!! And in time for Thanksgiving! 💃🏼 🕺🏿

God Did it!

I wish I could report how I went out, watered, fertilized and pruned my garden 🪴 with diligent consistency. One day that will be my report but that is not the truthful report TODAY.

The bulk of the water came from the rain. 🌧 A lot of pruning wasn’t required because I planted them under weed block.

OUT OF THE DIRT

This harvest is humbling for God did all the work. Mary Mary has a song callled DIRT that says

Life at times can make you weak. And I have cried myself to sleep Cause reality makes you cry But the truth will dry your eyes Things they just can't stay the same When you work hard and you pray Yeah it may be kind of rough now But the point I'm trying to make is that we … need a little bit of dirt to grow.

THANKSGIVING & PRAYER

I’m thankful for the blessings and lessons from the garden of my life. I am harvesting everywhere!!! It only required a little labor.

My God, He gives Seed to the Sower 🙌🏽🙌🏽… can’t let this moment pass without showing off my collard greens too. 🥬

I had a battle with the bugs 🐛 but my aunt taught me how to fight back.… and I’m still winning 🏆 😊
